What's included
- Facebook & Instagram app setup in Shopify — connected to the right business portfolio, Facebook Page, Instagram account, ad account, pixel and catalog.
- One clean catalog in Meta Commerce Manager, with duplicate catalogs and old data feeds removed or disconnected.
- Product data check — titles, descriptions, prices, images, brand (Vendor) and availability, so items pass Meta's checks.
- Domain verification for your store's domain in Meta Business Settings, using the meta-tag or DNS method.
- Shop review support — checking the shop's status, fixing rejected products at the source in Shopify and requesting reviews.
- Instagram product tagging turned on once the shop is approved, so you can tag products in posts and reels.
- A short handover note explaining what was connected, where to find it and what to watch.
Who this is for
- Shopify brands launching a Facebook and Instagram Shop for the first time.
- Stores whose products are missing, stuck "in review" or showing old prices on Facebook and Instagram.
- Brands that changed agencies, Pages or ad accounts and now have assets split across business portfolios.
- Store owners in the US, UK and Canada who want the setup done properly without giving out passwords.
How the setup works
- Free audit. You send your store URL. I check the current Meta connection, catalog and product data and tell you exactly what needs doing.
- Fixed scope and price. You get a clear quote and timeline before any work starts.
- Access. You add me as a Shopify collaborator and give partner access in your Meta business portfolio. No passwords.
- Connect and clean up. I connect the app to the right assets, set up one catalog and one data source, and fix product data in Shopify.
- Verify and review. I verify your domain, check the shop status and resolve any rejected items.
- Handover. You get a summary of the setup and I stay available for questions after delivery.
Common problems I fix
- Products not syncing from Shopify to the catalog, or syncing twice.
- The Facebook & Instagram app connected to an old Page, a personal ad account or the wrong business portfolio.
- Products rejected under Meta's Commerce Policies because of claims, images or titles.
- Domain not verified, or verification lost after a theme change.
- Prices or stock in the shop not matching Shopify.
If you'd like to try the fixes yourself first, my guide Facebook Shop not syncing with Shopify? 9 fixes walks through them step by step.
Pairs well with
- Meta Pixel, Conversions API and GA4 tracking — the same app also controls how purchase data reaches Meta, so it's worth checking both together.
- TikTok Shop setup and sync — sell on TikTok from the same Shopify catalog.
FAQ
How long does a Facebook & Instagram Shop setup take?
The setup work itself usually takes a few business days, depending on the size of your catalog and how tangled the existing connection is. After that, Meta reviews your shop and products, which can take extra time that nobody outside Meta controls.
Do you need my Facebook or Shopify password?
No. I work through Shopify collaborator access and partner access to your Meta business portfolio. You stay the owner of every account and can remove my access at any time.
Can you guarantee Meta will approve my shop?
No, and nobody honestly can. Meta reviews every shop and product itself. I set everything up to follow Meta's Commerce Policies and help with fixes and review requests if something is rejected.
My shop was set up before but products stopped syncing. Can you fix it?
Yes. Most sync problems come from the app being connected to the wrong business portfolio or catalog, duplicate data sources, or missing product fields. I find the cause first, then fix it without breaking your existing ads and pixel history.
